THE CHALLENGE

The site had around 200 water meters spread across different zones, with no centralised visibility of consumption and no structured historical traceability.

THE SOLUTION

A data collection system was developed, integrating the meters via the HART protocol, synchronising with field flow meters and connecting to the Siemens system. Data is now organised in SQL Server, with automatic reports by zone, period and equipment.

THE RESULT

The client gained real-time visibility of consumption, structured history for sustainability audits and the elimination of manual records.

Hospital energy management with no single point of failure

THE CHALLENGE

Guaranteeing uninterrupted power supply in a hospital, with automatic transfer between grid, bus couplers and generators, and no single point of failure.

THE SOLUTION

An energy management system was implemented using ABB PLCs in a redundant architecture, able to manage bus coupler switching, generator start-up and synchronisation, with prioritisation of critical circuits.

THE RESULT

The infrastructure gained higher availability, reduced operational risk and an architecture ready to handle critical scenarios without unplanned interruptions.

Pneumatic transport of raw materials between silos

THE CHALLENGE

Automating and managing the pneumatic transport of raw materials between multiple silos, with control of discharge sequences and full visibility of the system.

THE SOLUTION

A control and supervision system was built on Siemens PLC and WinCC, managing valves, compressors and discharge sequences. Operators can now view and control the entire process in real time.

THE RESULT

The process became automated, with fewer sequencing errors, better operational control and a documented system ready for future evolution.

THE CHALLENGE

Controlling and automatically logging gas unloading operations from tanker trucks, including quantity, vehicle identification, operator and process parameters.

THE SOLUTION

A WinCC supervision system was developed, integrated with Siemens PLCs, automatically logging every operation in SQL Server and generating reports in Reporting Services.

THE RESULT

The operation gained full traceability, less manual recording and organised data for consultation, archiving and regulatory compliance.
